This program is designed for drivers who need to satisfy a court requirement for reckless or aggressive driving. Judges and lawyers refer to it as RADEP or the 12-hour defensive driving course. 

If a judge has already ordered you to complete this course, you will not receive positive points. If you are taking the course before your court date and have not completed a driver improvement clinic within the past two years, you may be eligible to receive 5 positive points. To qualify, you must complete the 8-Hour Driver Improvement Clinic and the 4-Hour RADEP course, not the 12-Hour course.

Yes, the court will accept this certificate unless a judge explicitly requires in-person attendance.

Your certificate is issued immediately after completion and sent by email as a digital PDF, ready to submit to the court or DMV.

The course is 12 hours total, but you don't need to complete it all at once. You can log in and out anytime — your progress is saved automatically.

A Virginia license is not required.

Quizzes may be retaken as many times as needed. To date, we've never had a student not be able to pass the exam.
